About Glen Abbott – The Travelin' Gringo

Somewhere in the middle of Nevada — Off U.S. Highway 50 in the middle of Nevada — known as “The Loneliest Road in America.”

Glen Abbott is an award-winning travel journalist and produces stories and videos on motorcycle touring and general travel for a variety of print, online, and broadcast outlets. He is a regular contributor to Harley-Davidson’s Enthusiast magazine, and has been a columnist for HOG and American Iron’s Motorcycle Bagger magazine (now out of print). Glen has extensive motorcycle touring experience throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

Glen’s work has appeared in Harley-Davidson’s Enthusiast magazine, HOG magazine, American Iron, Motorcycle Bagger, Rider, AAA’s Going Places, and others.

He has been featured as a motorcycle touring expert on television (“How to Do Florida,” a syndicated travel show), on radio (Cycle Rider Radio), and on numerous websites (see links below).

His current ride is a 2018 Harley-Davidson Ultra Limited Anniversary Edition.
