Glen Abbott is a freelance travel writer & photographer currently based in New Orleans, LA. He has ridden motorcycles for nearly 40 years, and has extensive motorcycle touring experience throughout the United States as well as in Canada and Mexico.
Glen writes regularly for Harley-Davidson’s HOG magazine, and has also written for American Iron, Rider, RoadBike, Motorcycle Bagger, and AAA’s Going Places magazine.
He has been featured as a motorcycle touring expert on television (“How to Do Florida,” a syndicated Florida travel show), on radio (Cycle Rider Radio), and on numerous websites (see links below).
His current ride is a 2006 Harley-Davidson Road King Classic, which Glen says “fits him like a glove.”
Glen also writes about New Orleans life and culture for www.nolavie.com, which appears on the New Orleans Times-Picayune’s website, www.nola.com.
