On the road between Albuquerque and Santa Fe, NM — Along the Turquoise Trail, a 50-mile stretch of scenic highway linking Albuquerque and Santa Fe, there seems to be an inordinate number of Alien Cows.
I never saw any, but the preponderance of “Cow Warning” signs that include a little UFO symbol seemed to suggest they could be lurking around the next bend.
I mean, Roswell – site of a legendary UFO encounter in 1947 – is only a couple hundred miles away, and a flying saucer would no doubt be able to streak from place to place in the blink of an eye, right?
Or maybe I’ve misread the symbol — could it possibly be a sombrero, warning of a Cow Fiesta ahead?
