Mamou, LA — So you think you know Mardi Gras? Boobs, beads, and Bourbon Street, right?

Deep within south-central Louisiana’s Cajun country, it’s not like that at all. In fact, it’s a whole lot more traditional, a celebration that includes horseback riding, chasing chickens, and dancing the Cajun Two-Step.
