The rumble has returned to Daytona Beach, Florida – it’s Bike Week 2015, the 74th annual edition of the rally that’s the traditional spring riding season kick-off.
For my first day in Daytona, I ventured to the speedway area, where Harley-Davidson’s display and demo area is located, along with many other vendors. One of the highlights at H-D today was Sons of Anarchy star Kim Coates (“Tig Trager”) signing autographs (he’s scheduled to be here March 7 & 8 from noon to 3:00 pm). And Harley also has its Project Livewire electric motorcycle on display in Daytona for the first time.
The rally attracts up to 500,000 attendees each year, and is spread throughout Daytona and its surrounding cities. This year’s dates are March 6 – 15, so there’s still plenty of time left to take in the action!
