Chillin’ at Willie’s Tropical Tattoo Old School Chopper Show

// March 10th, 2011 // Events, Places

Ormond Beach, FL — Chillin’ at Willie’s Tropical Tattoo Old School Chopper Show is a Bike Week tradition. “Hardcore” and “old-school” are terms that would describe some of the bikes AND some of the patrons. You’ll run into just about everyone here, from motorcycle magazine editors to biker gang members — but the vibe is friendly, just a group of enthusiasts getting together to look at some cool machines and socialize.  Plaques are awarded in a variety of categories: Best Flathead, Panhead, Shovelhead, Sportster, Knucklehead, EVO, Sportster, Brit Bike, Japanese Bike, Hardcore, Trailer Trash, Willie’s Choice, and Best of Show — along with a trophy or two. No great monetary rewards here, but bragging rights from this event carry some old-school cred!

  1. Thanks for sharing these photos. So glad the rain stopped for the show… the only day it has rained during Bike Week.
