Terlingua, TX — One of the biggest surprises from my recent Texas roadtrip turned out to be the town of Terlingua. A quirky ghost town with a handful of residents, it sits a few miles from Big Bend National Park, and is known primarily for its annual Chili Cookoff.
I posted a picture from Terlingua last week, but I wanted to post this one also, because it gives you some idea of the area’s isolation in the desert terrain of west Texas.
