Riding between Santa Fe and Taos, New Mexico, you’ve got your choice of two scenic routes. I chose the “low road” going up, and the “high road” coming back.
Both are spectacularly scenic rides, but I found the high road more remote and isolated — great riding on a motorcycle.
The photo above is from the badlands south of Chimayo, an area of desolate beauty.
